Leapfrog Property Group wins major property award
Posted: 14th August 2010
Leapfrog Property Group joins the very best property professionals in the whole of Europe and Africa by participating in this year’s highly acclaimed property competition, the Europe & Africa Property Awards 2010 in association with Bloomberg Television - and winning an award in the category of ‘Best Real Estate Agency Website’. The awards presentation will take place at a high profile gala dinner at the Park Lane Hotel in London’s Mayfair on Friday, 24 September 2010. The event is part of the prestigious International Property Awards.
By Leapfrog Property Group winning one of these coveted awards, it is clear that not only can the young property group successfully compete at this level, but can also triumph within the highly competitive Europe and Africa property arenas.
Later this year, the highest scoring winners from the Europe & Africa Property Awards will compete against other winning companies from Asia Pacific, the UK, Americas and the Middle East to find the ultimate ‘World’s Best’ in each category. These results will be announced at a grand gala dinner at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, Hyde Park, London on Saturday, November 27th.
Bruce Swain, Managing Director of Leapfrog says of winning the award, “Leapfrog Property Group has invested heavily in our online capabilities, delivering the next generation in web-based real estate marketing. Given our reputation for doing things differently, it was a major imperative for us to bring to market an online platform that would engage with an increasingly sophisticated consumer who is time-starved, yearns for immediate answers and feedback and demands the best in customer service and engagement. Winning this award is proof of our success in providing a winning formula of delivering real benefits and business value to our franchisees and agents, along with unique customer insights in order for us to actively bring buyers, sellers and agents together with a common purpose and goal.
“Leapfrog’s website is the next generation in online real estate marketing and is indicative of our decision to integrate traditional channels of doing business with new multimedia channels, rather than competing against it. New digital media and marketing channels are emerging all the time and the fact remains that technology and the propensity for consumers to use it are not going to go away.
“Rather than fight it, we invested our energies into finding ways to develop sustainable and mutually beneficial platforms that integrate with and grow our revenue opportunities. In many respects Leapfrog has been a trendsetter in terms of changing the way we do business, rather than just doing things the same way simply because ‘that’s how it’s always been done’. Our move into online real estate marketing is no different and this award is indicative of our thought leadership in this area,” concludes Bruce.
Much of the judging was carried out by the International Property Awards’ esteemed panel of judges at the London offices of Bloomberg Television but entries were also outsourced to leading experts in each particular field throughout the world. This year’s judges included Ben Wood, industry head property markets of Google UK; Peter Bolton King, group chief executive of the National Federation of Property Professionals; Christopher Hall, president elect of FIABCI; Thijs Stoffer, International Consortium of Real Estate Agents Association (ICREA); Fiona Nixon, chairman of the Australia Institute of Architects, Hendrik Nelde, president of FIABCI Belgium; Helen Shield, editor-in-chief of International Homes Luxury Collection magazine and Sven Johns, CEO of the German Real Estate Association.
