Construction is currently underway on the Montecasino site in the form of 'The Pivot', which will include a new hotel, bar and lounge, conference centre, restaurant, outdoor pool and new gym. The new Gautrain will shortly have a station within Sandton. Its aim is to provide alternative transport for the lower to middle income car user and the upper income public transport user. The Gautrain will be operateational every day between 05:30am and 20:30pm and will run every 10-30 min based on peak times.

Sandton houses provides easy access to many getaway destinations as it is only 18km’s from the International Airport which makes it a great tourist and business centre. You can reach the Pilanesburg, Dullstroom, and the Vaal River by road in a few hours as well as a large number of private game reserves making for an ideal weekend getaway.
