Leapfrog Property Group is pleased to welcome commercial leader Fritz Swanepoel to the team as the new Group CEO. Swanepoel’s role will be primarily focused on driving sustainable growth and strengthening execution discipline across the national property franchise network.
The appointment is a strategic addition to Leapfrog’s leadership structure and forms part of the brand’s continued commitment to scaling high-performance operations and delivering excellence in the real estate sector.

Swanepoel joins Leapfrog with more than 25 years of experience building and leading organisations in fast-moving, customer-centric sectors. Most recently, he served as Head of Commercial Sales for Coastal Regions at OUTsurance, where he led a team of 400 people across three provinces, delivering consistent double-digit growth and embedding a performance culture aligned to long-term value creation.
His extensive career includes senior roles across sales, client services, and general management. With advanced business training from Henley and GIBS, Swanepoel has a proven track record of unlocking new markets and securing major national partnerships with some of South Africa’s most recognisable consumer and retail brands.

Swanepoel takes the helm as Jan le Roux transitions into a supportive role as Executive Director. Le Roux will remain active and highly involved in the Group, focusing on supporting the new CEO to ensure maximum capacity for recruitment and strategic expansion.
